고바우 영감
Manhwa
Gobau Yeonggam is a four-panel political cartoon by Kim Seong-hwan. It debuted in the weekly Manhwa Sinbo in 1950 and began in the Dong-A Ilbo on February 1, 1955, moving to the Chosun Ilbo in 1980 and reaching its 10,000th strip in May 1987. After the artist retired from the Chosun Ilbo in 1992, it continued in the Munhwa Ilbo until it ended on September 29, 2000 with strip 14,139, the longest-running four-panel comic in South Korean press history. A postage stamp was issued on November 1, 2000 for Gobau's 50th anniversary.
