릴레이 만화 '야옹'
Manhwa
Relay Comic 'Yaong' is a relay comic project by South Korean cartoonists. After cartoonist Park Kun-woong suffered a brain hemorrhage from police water cannons and riot shields while taking part in the May 31, 2008 protests against the Korea–US beef agreement, cartoonists issued a statement against the illegal police crackdown. Kim Tae-kwon organized the relay with Pop Toon editor Kim Song-eun, and Hankyoreh 21 provided a venue: it ran in the magazine's online edition from June 9, 2008, with some strips in print. The cartoonists themselves chose the order and topics.
