일지매
Manhwa
Iljimae is an original historical comic by Go Woo-young, serialized in the sports newspaper Ilgan Sports from 1975 to 1977 and later collected in book form. It follows the noble thief Iljimae of the late Joseon period in the years just before the Qing invasion of Joseon. The author called it his own signature work, and said it was essentially his pure creation, built on the figure of Iljimae without any source text.
