Cu Liu Zu is a comic by Zhu Deyong, serialized for ten years from 1989 in the family section of the China Times. Its title refers to young people unafraid of loneliness who chase money, love and fashion among the city's high-rises, and it satirizes their darker side. Collected volumes from China Times Publishing include Cu Liu Zu, Cu Liu Zu 2, Cu Liu Zu 3 and Cu Liu Zu City. A full-color revised edition launched in Hangzhou on May 1, 2009, and a TV drama adaptation aired in 2005.
