Manga · 2008
Comedy
Halcyon Lunch is a Japanese manga by Hiroaki Samura, serialized in good! Afternoon (Kodansha) from its first issue (released November 2008) to issue 17 of 2011. It is presented as an homage to the picture book The Very Hungry Caterpillar and is full of puns and parodies of other manga. It was planned as 7 chapters in a single volume, but for sales reasons grew to 2 volumes.
