Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai: Utsutsukowashi-hen
Manga
Thriller
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai: Utsutsukowashi-hen is a manga based on the work of Ryukishi07, with art and story structure by En Kitō. It began in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Comp Ace Vol. 10 (December 26, 2006) but was repeatedly put on hiatus, and ended with new pages added to the collected volume released in December 2007. Most of the mysteries it raised, such as the murderer's identity and the mysterious girls, were left unexplained; it was effectively cancelled and remains unfinished, and Kitō has said on Twitter that she cannot continue it.
