Nomi no Ō
Manga
Nomi no Ō is a manga by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, an ancient history work full of hypothesis and invention starring Nomi no Sukune, said to be the founder of sumo. Subtitled Kojiki Book Three, it follows Namuji and Jinmu, but unlike those two, which share characters, it is largely standalone, connected only by Sukune's clan being descended from the Izumo people who trace their ancestry to Namuji and Tsunomi.
