Xuě Yē
Manhua
Xue Ye is a long science fiction comic by Yan Kai, serialized from 1994 in Huashu Dawang. Because early mainland Chinese comic magazines were unstable and often folded, it moved through Sanyou Huawang, Kepu Huawang, Jinhong Huaji and Science Fiction World Pictorial. In 1996 it became the first collected comic volume published in mainland China, averaging more than 500,000 copies per volume, a record for mainland Chinese comics. It remains unfinished and is on hiatus.
